ChadFlow vs. Cluely: which live AI copilot fits the moment?

ChadFlow and Cluely can look similar in a screenshot: a quiet desktop overlay listens to the call and helps the user respond. That surface similarity hides two different product philosophies.

ChadFlow organizes the experience around a high-stakes conversation. You load the role, resume, and examples; get a response grounded in that material; and receive a debrief afterward. Cluely presents itself as a general meeting assistant for meetings, sales calls, stakeholder conversations, and on-demand help from screen and audio context.

During the conversation

Both products capture meeting context and make AI assistance available without switching to a separate chat window. ChadFlow automatically separates microphone and system audio, labels speakers, detects the question, and builds an answer around the source material loaded for that interview. It also lets the user attach one specific window as visual context for coding exercises, diagrams, case prompts, or slides.

Cluely's current product is broader. Its desktop assistant can answer questions about audio, the screen, uploaded files, and prior meeting context. That flexibility is useful in a sales demo or internal meeting where the user is not following a structured interview framework.

Screen-share privacy and pricing

This is the clearest commercial difference. ChadFlow's public pricing starts at $9.99 per week. Its $29.99 monthly plan includes 12 hours of AI-assisted interviews, 20 hours of meeting recordings and notes, and the private overlay.

Cluely's public pricing page lists a free Starter plan, Pro at $19.99 per month, and Pro + Undetectability at $149.99 per month. Pro advertises unlimited AI responses and meeting notetaking; the private screen-share feature is reserved for the much more expensive tier.

That does not make ChadFlow universally cheaper. Cluely Pro is less expensive if you do not need private screen sharing, and Cluely describes its usage as unlimited. ChadFlow uses explicit hour allowances. For a candidate who does need the overlay excluded from ordinary screen shares, ChadFlow's monthly sticker price is about 80% lower than Cluely's dedicated undetectability tier.

Before and after the call

ChadFlow asks for the job description, company context, resume, and the examples a candidate wants to use. Afterward, it turns the transcript into talk-time and filler-word analysis, highlights answers to tighten, proposes stronger rewrites, and produces a preparation list for the next round.

Cluely is stronger in a different direction: calendar-linked pre-call briefs, meeting histories, custom knowledge bases, team analytics, and business-oriented follow-up. If a sales organization wants shared administration and meeting intelligence, Cluely is currently the more mature public offering.

Mobile and everyday usefulness

ChadFlow's iPhone product is not simply a remote control for the desktop app. It records voice notes and long meetings, labels speakers, summarizes them, accepts questions during a live session, and includes an iOS keyboard that dictates into other apps. This matters because an interview copilot can otherwise become a subscription with no value between interviews.

Cluely now advertises mobile availability, but its public documentation remains primarily centered on desktop meetings. Prospective buyers should test the exact mobile workflow they care about rather than assuming feature parity.

Models and privacy: avoid easy myths

Cluely advertises access to “latest AI models,” and its changelog previously documented GPT-5 availability. ChadFlow's privacy notice says OpenAI supplies speech recognition and AI generation. It would be inaccurate to claim that Cluely simply uses obsolete AI while ChadFlow alone uses frontier models.

On data handling, both products say customer content is not used to train AI models. Cluely's privacy policy says it may collect audio, transcripts, and screenshots and may retain information while an account exists, plus archives or de-identified data. ChadFlow says it does not keep audio as a stored copy after processing, while OpenAI API data may be held for abuse monitoring for up to 30 days under the arrangement described in ChadFlow's current privacy notice.

Neither “local” nor “cloud” is automatically private. The useful questions are what is transmitted, what is retained, for how long, whether it trains models, and which setting controls the behavior.

Who should choose which?

Choose ChadFlow if:

• You are actively interviewing and want answers grounded in your resume and target role.
• You need a private overlay without paying for a $149.99 plan.
• You want coding and visual prompt help plus a post-interview improvement loop.
• You want the same subscription to cover iPhone dictation, meetings, notes, AI questions, and text-to-speech.
• You only need the product for a concentrated week.

Choose Cluely if:

• You want unlimited general meeting assistance and do not need undetectability.
• Your main workflow is sales, stakeholder meetings, or company knowledge bases.
• You need visible enterprise administration, SSO, analytics, and team onboarding.
• You value Cluely's broader market presence and meeting-centric ecosystem.
